Kalyon Hotel Istanbul

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star hotel in Istanbul and I must say, it was a truly amazing experience. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area. It was just a short walk to all the popular attractions like the Sultanahmet, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. Plus, it was right across the street from the Sea of Marmara, providing a beautiful spot to go for a run or simply enjoy the view. The staff at this hotel were incredible. They were so friendly and helpful, making me feel like a part of their family. They knew everything there was to know about the city, from taxi prices to which buses to take. They even offered a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The service at this hotel was top-notch, with 24-hour room service and a range of amenities such as car hire and laundry services. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities like air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were polite and helpful. They attended to all of my needs promptly, and the waiters at breakfast were well-mannered. The hotel is conveniently located near many landmarks and attractions, including Sultanahmet and Yanikapai ferry boat. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and the room views were fine.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area in front of the sea, where guests can take a leisurely walk or enjoy a boat ride to the main attractions in Sultanahmet. It is also very close to all the tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering services such as Suhur in Ramadan upon request. Additionally, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was of a good standard.

There were some complaints about the comfort of the beds, the overall appearance and condition of the rooms, and the basic nature of the breakfast.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the friendly and welcoming hotel manager who quickly resolved any issues we had. He even upgraded our room after we complained, adding to the overall positive experience. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the popular attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Topkapi, and bazaars. The hotel also offered wall plugs for a small refundable fee, which was convenient for travelers. The breakfast selection was good, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

The hotel is located on the shore of the Marmara Sea, offering a beautiful view of the water. It is situated in the Sultan Ahmet district, close to many historic monuments. there are some very expensive seafood restaurants in the area for those looking for a special dining experience.

The hotel's WiFi connection is very slow and almost unusable.

The location was excellent, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The views of the Marmara Sea from my upgraded sea view room were amazing. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also pet-friendly, so I could bring my dog to the breakfast area with no issues. I highly recommend this hotel for a well-done trip to Istanbul!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to the Sultanahmet square and the city center. We were able to visit all the hot attractions in this city without any hassle. The hotel facilities were amazing, with a large parking lot for easy access. The staff were very friendly and polite, always ready to assist us.
